New Air Conditioning Coming to Greasley Sports & Community Centre

The Committee Room has become an increasingly popular space for exercise classes, including our high-energy spin sessions. As anyone who has taken part will know, things can get pretty warm once a class gets going!

The new air conditioning system will help us maintain a much more comfortable temperature throughout the year, particularly during busy fitness sessions and the warmer summer months.

The improvement will also benefit the many other groups, meetings and activities that use the Committee Room, making it a more comfortable and versatile space for everyone.

This is another part of Greasley Parish Council’s ongoing investment in the Sports & Community Centre. Following the recent major refurbishment of our gym, we’re continuing to look at practical improvements across the building that make a real difference to the people who use it.

Installation will take place on Friday 11th September, and there may be some temporary disruption to use of the Committee Room while the work is carried out.

We’re looking forward to a much cooler Committee Room – particularly for our spin class regulars!
