Men’s Changing Facilities – Improvement Works Next Week

From Wednesday 9th September, contractors will be replacing the flooring and shower facilities in the men’s changing area. Unfortunately, this means that there will be no shower facilities available within the male changing rooms from Wednesday to Friday while the work is completed.

We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause and appreciate everyone’s patience while the work takes place.

This work has been a long time coming. We had hoped to complete it sooner, but supply-chain backlogs affecting some of the materials and equipment required have meant that we have only now been able to get everything in place.

As part of the works, contractors will also be uncovering and reinstating access to an existing manhole, which had previously been covered over. This is an important practical improvement that will ensure appropriate access is retained for any future maintenance.

Once complete, the new showers and flooring will provide a much smarter, fresher and more welcoming changing area for our customers.

This is another job being ticked off our list as we continue working through improvements across Greasley Sports & Community Centre. We are determined to keep investing in the building and improving the experience for everyone who uses it.
