More Improvements Underway at Greasley Sports & Community Centre

Some of the doors around the Centre have been in need of replacement for some time. With a busy building and plenty of competing priorities, not every job can be tackled at once, but we are now working through some of those outstanding improvements to make the Centre smarter, friendlier and more welcoming for everyone who visits.

The latest work will see the replacement of:

• Four storeroom doors within the Sports Hall
• The double doors between Reception and the Sports Hall, which have unfortunately been broken for some time
• The door between Reception and the gym

While replacing doors might not be the most exciting improvement, these are the everyday details that make a real difference to how a building looks, feels and functions.

The work forms part of our wider efforts to keep improving Greasley Sports & Community Centre. Alongside larger projects, such as the recent gym refurbishment and new acoustic panels in the Parish Hall, we are also focusing on the smaller jobs that help bring the whole building up to a better standard.

As a Parish Council-owned and operated community facility, we want the Centre to be somewhere local people are proud to use – whether they are visiting the gym, attending a class, joining a community group, hiring a room or taking part in one of our events.

There is still more to do, but we are steadily working through our list and investing in improvements wherever we can.
