Full Council
The Council operates on a monthly cycle of meetings which include a summer recess in August.
Meetings of the Council are held in the Committee Room of the Greasley Sports & Community Centre on Dovecote Road, Newthorpe, and normally start at 7.00 pm. Times and dates of meetings can always be verified by contacting the office or consulting our website.
Members of the public can attend these meetings, as observers. Space is somewhat limited so large groups wishing to attend should contact the Clerk in advance of the meeting and the Council will endeavour to move to a larger venue.
Council Meetings are usually on the second Monday of the month.

Finance & Policy Committee
Committee Meetings usually take place on the fourth Monday of the month.

Sports and Community Centre Committee focuses on our Parish Hall, Sports Hall, Gym and MUGA, as well as any outdoor spaces relating to GSCC, Dovecote Road. Committee Meetings usually take place on the fourth Monday of the month. Environment and Planning Committee focuses on our parks, green spaces, climate initiatives and anything else "outdoors". Committee Meetings usually take place on the fourth Monday of the month. Community Resilience Committee
Community Resilience Committee focuses on creating our Parish Emergency Plan and organising the response to community emergencies in the Parish Committee Meetings are ad-hoc and will usually take place on the 4th Monday of the month if required Meetings of the Council are held in the Committee Room of the Greasley Sports & Community Centre on Dovecote Road, Newthorpe, and normally start at 7.00 pm. Events Working Group
This working group meets irregularly when preparing for a Parish event.

Matkins Tip Working Group
This working group provides support to the Council by preparing responses to correspondence relating to the Matkins Tip development site and carrying out and research which may be required to assist the Council in making resolutions.
