Running from 5pm to 7pm, this much-loved event is completely free to attend and welcomes residents of all ages from Greasley and our neighbouring communities.
What to Expect
This year’s Christmas Cracker is packed with activities and entertainment designed to offer an enjoyable start to the festive season:
-
Meet Santa – Children can visit Santa’s Grotto and receive a free storybook gift.
-
Free Face Painting – Our talented face painters will be back creating festive designs for young visitors.
-
Live Performances – Enjoy music, dance and entertainment from local performers and community groups.
-
Community Stalls – Local charities, small businesses and independent makers will be joining us with a selection of gifts, crafts and festive treats. Stallholders participate free of charge, helping us highlight and support local enterprise.
-
Refreshments – Warm up with hot drinks and snacks served by local groups, who keep the proceeds to support their community activities.
A Community Celebration
The Christmas Cracker is fully funded by Greasley Parish Council as part of our commitment to providing accessible, family-friendly events for the community. We’re proud to create an evening that brings residents together while offering opportunities for local groups, performers and small businesses to showcase what they do.
